Jakarta, October 2024 — Physics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Jakarta State University (UNJ) carried out the activity of Signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Solar Energy Baru, a company engaged in the development and application of renewable energy technology, especially solar energy.

This activity took place in the FMIPA UNJ meeting room and was attended by the Head of the Physics Study Program, the Dean of FMIPA, and the management team from PT Solar Energy Baru. It is hoped that this collaboration will open up opportunities for research and development of applicable renewable energy technology for students and lecturers.

PT Solar Energy can also share industry experience with students so that they are ready to face the challenges of the energy transition in the future.

Through this collaboration, both parties agreed to carry out various activities such as joint applied research, industrial guest lectures, student internship programs, and development of renewable energy-based learning tools.

It is hoped that the signing of this MoU will be the beginning of a sustainable synergy between the academic world and industry in realizing a green campus and supporting the achievement of sustainable development targets in Indonesia.
