Jakarta, April 17, 2024 – Jakarta State University (UNJ) has officially rolled out a new initiative focused on providing free and easily accessible drinking water across its campus grounds. This commitment is realized through the installation of refill water stations in strategic locations throughout the university. These stations have been placed in high-traffic areas such as faculty buildings, libraries, canteens, and student centers, ensuring that the entire academic community benefits from this accessible facility.

The free drinking water facilities are open for use by students, lecturers, staff, and campus visitors alike, guaranteeing equitable access to safe and clean drinking water for all. The availability of these refill stations is designed to significantly reduce dependency on single-use bottled water and subsequently minimize plastic waste.
