Jakarta, 13 September 2025 — In order to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger (SDG 2), DWP UNJ together with DKM MNI launched the social program "Friday Sharing" on the UNJ campus and its surroundings. The aim of this initiative is to end hunger, increase food security, improve nutritional quality, and encourage healthier consumption patterns in campus communities.

Through this program, the two organizations routinely provide food assistance or consumption packages every Friday for students, staff and the community around campus who need it. This concrete step is part of UNJ's commitment to not only focus on academic aspects, but also act actively in social and environmental responsibility.

The "Friday Sharing" activity was carried out in the UNJ campus area and involved various parties in managing aid and its distribution. It is hoped that this collaboration between DWP UNJ and DKM MNI can reach vulnerable groups and make a real contribution to efforts to reduce hunger in the campus environment.

With active participation from the academic community, related units, and various parties, UNJ emphasizes that campuses as educational institutions also have an important role in social development. Through this activity, UNJ hopes to strengthen the role of educational institutions as agents of change in realizing the SDGs at the local level.
