Surakarta, 16 October 2025 — The stage for global innovation regarding sustainability is centered in Solo, Central Java, through the grand event The ICSIE - AABI AIBI SUMMIT 2025. With the central theme "Innovation for a Sustainable Future: Creating Environmental and Social Impact", this international conference is a crucial meeting point between academics, industrial practitioners and policy makers from various Asian countries.

Jakarta State University (UNJ) stood out as an active contributor in the forum organized by the Indonesian Business Incubation Association (AIBI) and Sebelas Maret University (UNS) at The Sunan Hotel Solo, 15–17 October 2025. UNJ not only participated in the discourse, but also took concrete steps by exhibiting 15 superior lecturer innovation products, all of which were oriented towards positive environmental and social impacts (SDGs).

Strategically located right in front of the exhibition entrance, the UNJ stand is a magnet for delegates and business incubators, both domestic and international from India, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea, Taipei and Singapore. The products on display show a diversity of practical solutions, from the health, food, education, to advanced materials sectors:

Smart Health: Products such as "Smart Anthropometric Toddler Weight" by Prof. Dr. Umiatin, M.Sc., attracted special attention because of its potential solution in preventing stunting. Likewise, "Sinobed Smartbed" (Taryudi, Ph.D.) offers miniature smart bed solutions. Environmental Solutions: Transformative innovation comes through the "Pyrolysis Incinerator" (Aam Amaningsih Jumhur, Ph.D.) and "HDPE Plastic Press Machine" (Dr. Eko Arif Syaefudin, M.T.) which offer smart methods in waste management. Not to forget, "Brake Pads from Plastic Press" by Dr. Drs. Riyadi, M.T., who converts plastic waste into automotive components. Sustainable Education: Educational innovation also appeared well with "Dilemma - STEAM KIT renewable energy" (Prof. Yuli Rahmawati, Ph.D.), a teaching aid that inspires the younger generation about green energy.

On the second day of the Summit, the UNJ booth received a courtesy visit from Dr. Fauzan Adziman, S.T., M.Eng., Director General of Research and Development, Ministry of Education and Technology. Director General Fauzan gave high appreciation and special attention to UNJ products, especially the "Nimbang Balita" health device.

The presence of investors and industrial partners at this exhibition emphasizes UNJ's main goal: Encouraging Collaboration and Acceleration of Startups.

ICSIE - AABI AIBI SUMMIT 2025 which was held brought together 22 participants from various institutions and companies in Asia. A series of events, including panel sessions with key figures such as Dr. Fauzan Adziman, S.T., M.Eng., Director General of Research and Development, Ministry of Education and Technology. and Prof. Kwang-Geun (James) Lee (AABI President), opened an in-depth discussion about the role of business and research incubators in achieving global sustainability.

Through this active participation, UNJ not only strengthens its commitment to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, but also positions itself as an innovation center that is ready to create a greener and more harmonious future through global collaboration and ethical, applicable and SDGs-oriented products.
