MOSA – Moving Smart Trash Based on Arduino & Android

Penjelasan Alat

MOSA is a smart waste sorting tool designed to support environmental education for early childhood. This tool can move automatically following a certain trajectory and is controlled via an Arduino-based Android application. Equipped with 3D hologram animation, MOSA displays interesting visual content to explain various types of waste interactively. Apart from being able to separate metal and non-metal waste, this tool also produces cute character tickets as a form of educational feedback so that children can learn while playing with a fun experience. Providing environmental learning media that is interesting and easy for children to understand. This tool is designed to help students recognize the importance of sorting waste from an early age through a direct experience and interactive visual approach. Apart from that, MOSA also aims to support teachers and educational institutions in delivering environmental material in a way that is more innovative and relevant to today's technological developments. Urgency of Tools : There is a lack of interactive environmental learning media for early childhood. Children need direct experiences that are fun and easy to understand. Hologram technology and automatic systems can increase interest and retention in learning. Supporting school needs for technology-based learning tools. Tool Innovation: Integration of automatic waste sorter, Android control and 3D hologram. Tool movement follows an automatic trajectory (moving system). Characteristic educational tickets that provide knowledge about types of waste. Experiential learning model through direct interaction with the tool. Tool Benefits: MOSA provides great benefits in the environmental education process at the PAUD and elementary school levels. Children can learn about the importance of sorting waste directly through interaction with tools, so that their understanding becomes faster and deeper. Hologram visualization helps increase information absorption, while the educational tickets issued by the tool function as additional learning material. For teachers, MOSA is a tool that makes it easier to convey material that is usually abstract to become more concrete and enjoyable. Tool working system: MOSA works through a simple flow: Android Application → Arduino → Motors & Actuators that move the tool. When waste is inserted, Sensor → Arduino → 3D Hologram → Ticket Printer processes and displays the type of waste and outputs an educational ticket.
