Penjelasan Alat

Microcontroller-Based Oxygen Concentrator is a medical device that functions to produce pure oxygen from the surrounding air by separating nitrogen using the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) method. This tool is controlled by an Arduino Uno microcontroller to regulate the solenoid valve, air pressure, and measure the oxygen levels produced, so that users can obtain high-purity oxygen efficiently and automatically. The purpose of this tool: To design and make a portable oxygen concentrator that can be used in homes or small health facilities at an affordable price, easy to use, and capable of producing medical quality oxygen without the need for high-pressure oxygen cylinders. Urgency: The need for medical oxygen has increased rapidly, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the availability of oxygen cylinders on the market is often limited and expensive. Therefore, the development of a microcontroller-based Oxygen Concentrator is an alternative solution for self-sufficient medical oxygen production in Indonesia, as well as supporting efforts to substitute imports of medical devices. Equipment Innovation: - Using an Arduino Uno microcontroller to control the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) process automatically. Automatic solenoid valve regulation system for adsorption and desorption processes. - Portable and power-saving design for home and clinic use. Product Advantages : 1. Does not require refilling oxygen cylinders.2. Low operational costs and easy maintenance.3. Automatic work system with microcontroller-based pressure and time settings.4. Produces oxygen with a purity above 90%.5. The main components are easy to obtain domestically. How to use the tool: The user turns on the tool, then the system will automatically regulate the incoming air flow through the compressor. The air passes through a filter and a Zeolite Molecular Sieve to separate the nitrogen. The microcontroller controls the switching of the solenoid valve to maintain the adsorption and desorption cycle. The resulting high levels of oxygen are then delivered to the user via a nasal tube. This product is a solution to the limitations of oxygen cylinders and the high price of medical oxygen on the market. With microcontroller-based Pressure Swing Adsorption technology, this tool allows users to produce oxygen independently, efficiently and safely. Apart from that, this tool can also be used as an educational medium in the development of biomedical technology in universities.
